The offer of a lifetime which you can’t refuse!
On 20 June this year LWC will be performing Mahler’s Eighth Symphony (Symphony of a Thousand) in Manchester’s famous Bridgewater Hall. This will be a joint project with Sheffield Philharmonic Choir & Wrexham Symphony Orchestra.
The performance of a choral work of this magnitude is a rare and rather special opportunity. But here’s the best bit: Our MD Keith Orrell would like to invite guest singers (Sop, Alto, Tenor & Bass) to join us as we seek to augment the overall choir size for this concert.
Acceptance to participate of course depends achieving a vocal balance, on general choral experience and ability to attend rehearsals between the beginning of March and June.
If you are interested please contact our Chair, Geraldine Boocock on geraldineboocock@me.com and she will send you full details and an application slip.
We look forward to hearing from you!!
